I have been without school since January 23rd. I love having days off, but I have been so stir crazy these past two days, that I am ready to go back and teach. In fact, I am anxious.

In light of the days off, I have had quite a bit of time to blog.

I have added several new features:

1. The UO Playlist to your right (Make sure your speakers are working!)
2. A textbox at the bottom of my blog
3. Labels
4. Featured websites and blogs

Last night I even helped Toby learn a few things about his blog...postmeaninful! (This is a rare occasion in our relationship, because Toby is by far the more tech savvy individual in our marriage.) We even downloaded an RSS reader to his I-Phone. Wonderful!

Mainly, the point to this writing is... I am blogged-out. I am going to be taking a short blogging vacation. Last night, I was up until 1 a.m. This would never, ever happen on a school night. Granted, I had no school in the morning to wake up to, but my schedule is beyond screwed up. When I do venture back to school, I am going to be pretty exhausted with the hours I will return to keeping.

I could hardly fall asleep last night when I did crawl into bed, because all I could think about is what I will blog today. I think my eyes have gone buggy from staring at a computer screen for about 14 hours a day. Don't get me wrong, I love, love blogging and reading other people's blogs! I have had so much fulfillment from the solace of my couch and macbook in our living room, while Toby carries on with his life as a Grad student. I am just feeling overly addicted and am in need of a good book or movie? Maybe even opening up my chalk pastels Toby bought be for Christmas last year that were hand-rolled in England.

I am just going to not sit on my computer all day long. Althought, I got to thinking... it would be pretty excellent to be paid to blog. What do you need to achieve in order to be paid to blog?? Predicament: Could I stare at a computer screen all day long? Hmmm... oh well. Art classroom here I come.

Before I sign off for today.. I thought everyone should visit the roomservice blog and check out her amazing photos from her recent trip to Paris, France. I was so envious!! The above photo was taken from her hotel room! I need to get in touch with her when Toby and I finally get to make our way over the Atlantic to Europe and find out where she stayed!

I have learned a lot from this time off.. due to winter weather... I plan to continue blogging and sharing meaningful tidbits from my personal experiences/eandevors. I have really benefitted from the creativity of the blogs that I have been "following." Thank you to all creative bloggers! It really is remarkable how close you can feel to people you have never once held a conversation with!
