Miniature Heads....

My sculpture class is doing some really great stuff so far this year! These are their mini-clay heads. I had a T-pain, an elf, a Chuckie, and many more interesting characters sculpted. I had them pair with a partner and start with some sketching. They had to draw their partner from multiple views. Then they had to attempt sculpting a "realistic" version of their model. After they thought their life-like version was complete, I okay-ed them to begin transforming their sculpture into a unique and creative mini-head. I am proud of the work done so far. The next step is to fire them and then glazefire them. I will post photos when the painting is complete.
