I apologize for my absence. As I said earlier, I have been completely immersed in track season and by the time I arrive home at night, the only energy I can muster is to sit on my couch and flip the remote. I love track and field. The sport is mesmerizing. The whole idea of getting a body into physical shape and pushing the boundaries of time is so addicting. I love to ignite a passion in the athletes that I work with and push them to their full potential. Teaching art is in much of the same way a type of coaching, although, their is something so captivating about the different events in track and field. The movements of hurdling and a strong, fast sprinter are almost poetic. We are two weeks away from our first meet. I am so anxious to get there!! I have been noticing the sweet chirping songs of spring birds and there have been buds peeking out on the trees... I am so ready for some springtime! I will try to post a few things from time to time, without so long of an absence in between.
