Chocolate Torte.



Toby put together an amazing Valentine's Day dinner for us, yesterday!

Our Menu:

Starter:
Field Green Salad with carrots, feta cheese, basil olive oil and balsamic vinegar

Main Course:
Sauteed scallops drizzled with a homemade basil olive oil
Filet mignon topped with the peppercorn cream sauce
Whipped buttery mashed potatoes combined with a peppercorn cream sauce

Dessert:
Homemade chocolate torte topped with vanilla whipped cream and raspberry coulis

It was a delicious meal! I hadn't had scallops in a pretty long time, so it was a nice surprise. The chocolate torte was so rich and creamy.. like a little bite of heaven in my mouth! We have more than half of a cake left over that we get to partake in for the rest of the week! I felt like I was sitting in a four star restaurant. It was a great start to a romantic evening! Thank you and I love you, hubbins!
