Kentucky was just beaten down by a treacherous winter storm. What can one do but take advantage of what comes one's way by documenting, documenting, and documenting this moment in time. I have been in this state for seven years now and this is by far the worst winter storm I have seen. I am loving every minute of the winter wonderland! I feel like I am at home in my birth state of Pennsylvania. I have been trying to enjoy it while it lasts even though many other Kentuckians have not been as fortunate as we have been. Approximately 375,000 households are w/o electricity which made Governor Beshear declare a state of emergency for Kentucky. As you can see, many of our neighbors have lost their beloved trees! With beauty comes destruction.... but sometimes that destruction is beautiful.
