Last winter our magnolia tree seemed to have been killed by the ice storm that hit central KY. When spring time came we bought an evergreen fertilizer stake to put in the ground near it's roots. We watered it diligently and were thrilled to see it being revived with new leaves appearing. However, it did not bear any blossoms all summer, which was unusual because it had for the past two. Fortunately, the blossoms finally arrived and I have been indulging in how beautiful they are and how wonderful they smell! Better late than never.
